There are only 3 more days until Christmas! I am so excited to be spending this Christmas with Josh for the first time! It's strange to think that this really will be our "First Christmas" together since last year we weren't even officially dating yet ( wink, wink...just friends).
I'm learning that there are many ups and downs these first few months of married life as we adjust to living together and meshing two lives into one. But overall I can honestly say, what an awesome blessing and "good gift" having Josh as a husband is to me! I'm thankful for God's perfect timing and that He knows better than I what is the best plan for my life. I'm thankful that He really does work all things together for the good of those who love Him, even those things which seem so debilitating and devastating at the moment they come about in our lives.
This Christmas is a special time not only because it's my first Christmas with my own home to decorate and new recipies to try out for Christmas goodies, but because I feel very rested, renewed, and revived to the knowledge that God is in control of every aspect of my life and I can trust Him fully with whatever the future holds for me. I'm looking forward to this coming year in 2009, and anticipate the many bumps, jolts, and smooth sailing that will accompany it!
God Bless You All This Christmas and in the New Year to Come!!
